PostFinance partners with NICE for authentication support

Swiss bank PostFinance has partnered with NICE Real-Time Authentication to improve its processes.

Through this partnership, PostFinance will integrate the real-time authentication solution which will improve customer experience and lower authentication times. Its new services will allow customers to use voice biometrics to access their information from anywhere in a secure manner.

The bank believes it can cut identification and authentication times of customers calling the contact centre by over half.

NICE RTA provides a caller authentication solution which can be used to validate identifies of customers from anywhere. Its platform works across multiple channels and call types or complexity, to ensure protection from identity theft and account takeovers.

PostFinance voice recognition project manager Besnik Shaqiri said, “This was an effective, easy to implement solution that will help in serving our customers, making it easy for them to get the information they need and complete interactions effortlessly, securely and quickly.

“The acceptance of RTA by our customers has been higher than we could have expected in just a few weeks since the launch, and they are excited to be part of a new era of technology in Swiss Banking.”

NICE operates a number of protection and compliance solutions, protecting enterprises across various industries. Its Actimize solution helps to protect from money-laundering, autonomous financial crime management, fraud and authentication, and compliance.

Earlier in the year, NICE Actimize released a new financial crime risk management solution which is powered by machine learning technology.
