Pega and docStribute collaborate to tackle UK's latest regulatory changes

docStribute, a technology solutions provider specializing in secure digital signing and document distribution, and Pegasystems, the global leader in low-code platforms empowering top enterprises to ‘Build for Change®’, have recently announced their partnership.

This strategic alliance aims to support financial services firms in complying with the newly introduced Consumer Duty Regulation in the UK, which took effect on 31 July 2023.

docStribute, established in 2019, has always been at the forefront of securing consumer interests. They simplify complexities through their secure digital signing and document distribution solutions, ensuring financial firms provide optimal outcomes on product quality, price, and enhanced consumer support.

On the other hand, Pega, a market leader in cloud software, specializes in AI-powered decision-making and workflow automation. The company has a vast clientele that depends on their AI-powered software to enhance customer interactions across various channels.

docStribute is integrating its solutions with Pega’s Infinity™ platform and has joined the Pega Partners program. This allows them to fully reap the benefits of being a Pega partner while also receiving specific support for developing their solutions on the Pega platform. Consequently, Consumer Duty compatible docStribute technology is now available to Pega customers.

Beyond the Pega partnership, docStribute is exploring new market opportunities and internationalising its services. They’ve also signed multiple agreements with various partners, including the UK Government’s Crown Commercial Service (CCS), earning the title of a G-Cloud 13 supplier.

This prestigious listing makes docStribute’s technology accessible to over 52,000 public and third-sector organisations. Separate agreements have also been forged with a Tier One bank and several building societies.

docStribute CEO Chris Ansara said, “docStribute’s strength comes from our continued partnerships with industry leaders like Pega. We are very excited to commence our collaboration and to make our technology available to a new audience.

“Consumer Duty is a major recalibration of relations between institutions and consumers and now is a vital time for companies to ensure they are compliant with the new rules. Among the company’s many remarkable strengths, Pega’s CRM ranking and global user-base make the partnership especially exciting, as we strive to help firms stay compliant, in an ever-changing regulatory environment.”

Steve Morgan, industry market leader, banking, at Pega commented, “Consumer Duty is a major, systemic change to how financial services organisations deal with their customers, and it’s crucial that firms use top-tier technology that will do right by them and help achieve regulatory compliance. Our partnership with docStribute is an omnichannel approach that will benefit Pega customers.”
