Nested unlocks £1.2m for fast house sales

Aiming to help users sell their houses in just 90 days, Nested in a London proptech company that’s just landed £1.2m in its first round of financing.

The equity funding comes from Passion Capital and Global Founders Capital, as well as angel investors including Rocket Internet founder Alex Samwer and Indeed.com founder Paul Forster.

The company was founded by GoCardless founder Matt Robinson and uses valuation technology to let sellers get an immediate cash offer on the value of their house.

It then sells the house with the owner getting 80% of any upside on the original price and Nested taking 20%, as well as a 1.8% minimum fee.

The service is currently only available in London for properties valued at less than £1m.
