Lystable takes $10m to focus on freelancer payments

Freelancer management platform Lystable has raised a further $10m in funding to focus on payments.

The funding is an extension of the $11m round it raised in June 2016 and was once again led by Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures.

SciFi VC, Kindred Capital, Goldcrest Capital, Glynn Capital and Wilmot Ventures also participated. The round takes its funding to $25m in total.

The company was founded in London and took part in the city’s Techstars programme in 2014.

It now also operates a San Francisco office which will see its staffing count grow as a result of the new funding.

The primary use of the capital will be the expansion of Lystable’s payments platform designed to make it easier for businesses to manage and generate invoices as well as pay freelance workers.

Lystable counts more than 60 enterprise customers using the platform to manage 42,000 freelancers.
