Ipreo, a provider of financial services technology, data, and analytics, has partnered with Alvarez & Marsal’s Alternative Investment Services Group.
The company said the deal will provide ‘enhanced integration and optimisation’ of its Private Capital Markets (PCM) solution suite for alternative asset managers.
Ipreo’s solutions for private market participants streamline data collection, analysis, reporting, and valuations, enabling private capital firms, their LPs, and service providers to manage the overall data flow across their respective asset classes. Its iLEVEL platform is a private market portfolio management solution, and counts many private capital firms, fund managers, and institutional investors as clients.
A&M’s Alternative Investment Services group helps funds address complex challenges from critical valuation, regulatory, and strategic perspectives.
Leveraging A&M’s experience with implementing and optimising portfolio and fund reporting systems, the partnership will enable them to better assist iLEVEL clients seeking to enhance their platform user experience and maximise value for their firm.
Our suite of solutions provides fund managers and investors with on-demand access to high quality investment data, enabling them to gain actionable insight, make smarter decisions, minimize risk, and maximize their returns,” said Kevin Black, EVP and Head of Ipreo PCM. “We’re excited to partner with A&M; with their deep understanding of the alternative investment industry, they are a natural fit for us.”
With growing demands for transparency and regulatory compliance, General Partners have an increasing need to generate quality data that feeds insightful analysis and makes their entire firm more efficient and responsive to investors and regulators.
Limited Partners are then tasked to use that data to benchmark investments, identify the early-warning signs of investments at risk, and spot opportunities with a strong potential for growth. Ipreo Private Capital Markets offers a web-based platform that helps tackle these challenges ‘with maximum efficiency, accuracy and insight’ while reducing operational effort and risk according to the company.
Financial institutions struggling to address the twin challenges of regulatory compliance and technological change, Alvarez & Marsal helps clients through the mire of regulatory, performance improvement, restructuring, transaction advisory, disputes and litigation, and valuation issues.
Mark McMahon, valuation services global practice leader and head of alternative investment services, added: “The major benefit to clients will be to enhance the effective and rapid application of Ipreo’s private markets solutions to address critical portfolio analytics and reporting needs.”
