Indigita, a Swiss RegTech firm, in collaboration with Prometeia, has announced the launch of an innovative e-Learning course dedicated to ESG scoring.
This new offering aims to equip professionals within the financial industry with a deep understanding of ESG scores and how they can be applied to make informed investment decisions. Recognised by the SAQ Swiss Association for Quality, this course is a testament to the quality and relevance of its content.
The course, titled “Understanding ESG Score: Navigating Environmental, Social, and Governance Factors in Investment,” is specifically designed to meet the needs of financial institutions. It delves into the essence of ESG investing, highlighting the critical role of integrating ESG factors into investment decisions and the methodologies used for evaluating investments based on ESG criteria.
Indigita is at the forefront of providing cutting-edge RegTech solutions, focusing on the application of technology to streamline regulatory processes within the financial sector. Their collaboration with Prometeia underscores a shared commitment to advancing the understanding and application of ESG principles in investment strategies.
The newly launched product explains the principles of ESG scoring, stressing the importance of assessing companies’ reliability regarding ESG principles. It aims to draw a parallel between ESG scores and traditional credit ratings, providing participants with insights into the methodology behind evaluating environmental, social, and governance factors alongside financial performance.
Featuring interactive elements and practical examples, the course enables participants to gain valuable knowledge that can be directly applied to real-world investment scenarios. It concludes with a comprehensive overview of the process involved in developing ESG scores, from data collection to score allocation, lasting approximately 60 minutes and ending with a final assessment to ensure participants’ understanding.
