FinCompare pulls in €2.5m for first funding round

Digital financing platform FinCompare has received €2.5m in its first funding round, with Speedinvest and UNIQA serving as the anchor investors.

Other firms involved with the funding round include N26 and Tradico, with several angel investors from the banking and finance sector also taking part.

Berlin-based, the company is an online platform offering financing solutions for small to mid-sized companies which are seeking loans of up to €10,000.

The company helps to compare offers from banks, fintechs and financial services providers in Germany and conclude financings.

Through the investment FinCompare will continue to push market, technology, marketing and personal expansion.

FinCompare founder and CEO Stephan Heller said, “Smart corporate finance is an important building block on the way to the digitization of SMEs. FinCompare stands for finding, comparing, completing – just as easily financing solutions should be.

“We are pleased that in our first round of financing, we were able to convince experienced investors and industry experts about our business model and the associated market opportunities. ”
