The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has called for experts to join the Consultative Working Group for its Corporate Reporting Standing Committee (CRSC).
The CRSC advises ESMA and supports its work related to accounting, audit, periodic financial reporting, non-financial reporting, electronic reporting developments and the storage of regulated information.
Members of the working group will be asked to provide technical assistance to the CRSC. To do this, the working group will be asked to provide input at all stages of the policy formulation process.
This will include work on its work programme, relevant European and international developments in the area of financial and non-financial reporting.
Last year, ESMA announced it was looking for stakeholders involved with financial industry innovation to join its group of consultative members.
