Chronograph, portfolio monitoring and reporting solution, has closed its Series A round to support the growth of its team
Global equity investor and Carlyle Group affiliate AlpInvest Partners led the round, with participation also coming from Nasdaq Ventures. AlpInvest’s investment was made via Carlyle’s balance sheet.
Following the round close, Chronograph will look to hire key staff members for its product development, sales, and operations teams.
Alongside the funding, the RegTech company has established a strategic partnership with AlpInvest and eVestment, a subsidiary of Nasdaq. It will leverage AlpInvest’s primary, secondary and co-investment businesses and eVestment’s technology, institutional data and analytics, to bolster its solution.
These deals will build upon Chronograph’s automated approach to data aggregation and advanced analytics.
Founded in 2016, Chronograph offers portfolio monitoring, reporting, and diligence tools to capital investors, including limited and general partners. Its solution automates data extraction and aggregation from secure documents, Excel files, and other systems.
