Chubb, recognised as the world’s largest publicly traded property & casualty insurance firm, has entered into a strategic partnership with SentinelOne, an established leader in the cybersecurity sector, to enhance cyber risk management for businesses in the U.S.
This alliance seeks to integrate SentinelOne’s industry-leading cybersecurity solutions with Chubb’s insurance offerings. By doing so, they aim to provide enhanced cyber defense measures, helping businesses fortify against the evolving cyber threat landscape.
Chubb has been a major player in the insurance industry, especially in the cyber insurance space, offering extensive coverage for data breaches, network security, and various cyber risks for over two decades. Their expertise in assessing, assuming, and managing risks is well-acknowledged.
On the other hand, SentinelOne stands out in the cybersecurity domain. Recognised as a Fortune AI 50 company, SentinelOne’s Singularity™ is a pioneering cybersecurity AI platform. This platform, powered by their proprietary DataSet™ technology, offers rapid and precise solutions to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats.
The first phase of the collaboration will enable Chubb’s cyber insurance policyholders, specifically those with over $100m in revenue, to share enterprise health assessment data via SentinelOne’s endpoint protection tools. A significant feature includes the WatchTower Vital Signs Report app from SentinelOne, designed to provide a clear profile of a policyholder’s cybersecurity health to Chubb, thus optimising underwriting processes.
The collaboration presents multiple advantages for policyholders and agents, including potential discounts on policy pricing, simplified policy renewals, and increased cyber threat visibility. Moreover, these policyholders might gain access to discounted subscriptions of SentinelOne’s solutions, equipping them with enhanced tools to safeguard their digital assets.
Chubb Vice President of Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Craig Guiliano said, “The incorporation of SentinelOne’s endpoint protection and incident response gives Chubb policyholders streamlined and potentially discounted access to a full suite of integrated cyber risk management solutions. Policyholders will be empowered to defend faster, at a greater scale, and with higher accuracy across their entire attack surface. The other major benefit to the policyholder is the comprehensive view of an enterprise’s cybersecurity health for improved policy accessibility.”
SentinelOne Chief Customer Officer Eran Ashkenazi commented, “SentinelOne is proud to collaborate with Chubb to put the power of cybersecurity technology in the hands of their policyholders and help them take informed action to protect their business from potentially devastating threats today and tomorrow.”
