London proptech startup Bricklane.com has raised £1.3m in seed funding.
The pre-launch investment comes from UK online property portal Zoopla and prominent UK investor Robin Klein through his LocalGlobal VC fund.
Angel investors from financial services, real estate and tech also invested in the company.
Bricklane.com is an online property ISA that allows those who cannot afford to buy property to invest in the market for as little as £100.
The company then acts as a traditional Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and will initially invest in properties across Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds.
Its second fund will invest in London properties.
Bricklane.com says it also plans to explore how to improve the properties its buys for renters.
