Private equity firm ABRY Partners has purchased SiteLock, a provider of website security services.
Founded in 2008, SiteLock’s mission is to protect organisations from ever evolving cyber security threats by providing cloud-based, comprehensive website security solutions.
Its 360-degree monitoring finds and fixes threats, prevents future attacks, accelerates website performance and meets PCI compliance standards for businesses of all sizes. The company has an industry leading threat database and protects over 12 million websites worldwide.
SiteLock’s Secure Malware Alert and Removal Tool is a technologically advanced product, which finds and automatically removes malware found on a website, helps prevent search engine blacklisting. The company’s Infinity product scans website repeatedly to detect and patch vulnerabilities and remove malware as soon as it hits.
With DDoS attacks are becoming the weapon of choice for hackers today, SiteLock’s SecureVIP package also provides complete DDoS protection. The company’s TrueShield Web Application Firewall also protects websites from malicious traffic and blocks harmful requests.

The SiteLock PCI compliance program also helps companies who accept credit cards stay compliant in order to avoid fines from their processor and reduce risk of fraud for their customers. SiteLock provides a simplified self-assessment questionnaire (SAQ) that intelligently guides the user through the compliance process. In addition, it can scan a site and network (if required). User can also add on its PCI-certified TrueShield firewall, and make sure you easily pass the scan.
