Prime Security, a pioneering security firm, has just transitioned from stealth mode.
The company is introducing an AI-powered solution aimed at integrating security measures early in the software design phase, which is now available in a private beta version.
This innovative approach facilitates a smoother interaction between security and engineering teams by deploying AI to decipher product intentions and establish clear security guidelines for all involved parties, thus endorsing the concept of being “Secure by Design”.
Today, Prime Security announced securing $6m in seed funding. This financial backing comes from Foundation Capital, leading the round with contributions from Flybridge Capital Partners and distinguished angel investors like Sam Gutmann, Adrian Kunzle, Assaf Keren, Dimitri Sirota, Michael Callahan, and Omer Schneider.
Prime Security is dedicated to building security guardrails into the software design phase. By using AI, the company aids security teams in detecting, prioritizing, and mitigating security and compliance risks before the development begins, a method that promises to bridge the gap between security preparedness and product development.
The newly acquired funds are earmarked for accelerating research and development and expanding the sales and engineering teams across the company’s offices in Tel-Aviv and New York.
