Sweet Security, a pioneering firm focused on cloud security, has announced its arrival with $12m in seed funding.
The company is spearheading efforts to bolster cloud defenses with its Cloud Runtime Security Suite.
The round was led by Glilot Capital Partners, and with significant participation from CyberArk Ventures and angel investors including Gerhard Eschelbeck, former CISO at Google, and Travis McPeak, who previously led product security at Databricks.
Sweet Security’s Cloud Runtime Security Suite is a game-changing solution to cloud defense. With a unique runtime sensor, it provides security teams with tools to halt cloud workload attacks swiftly and precisely. The company’s model of detection and response, discovery, prevention, and its patent-pending auto-learning technology ensures robust defenses across all stages of an attack.
While the details of how the funding will be specifically used were not outlined, the financing is expected to propel Sweet Security’s cloud-native runtime protections, further innovating its cutting-edge technology that offers comprehensive attack findings and immediate mitigation capabilities.
Founded by retired Brigadier General Dror Kashti, retired Colonel Eyal Fisher, and Orel Ben-Ishay, Sweet Security’s approach emphasizes efficiency and adaptability. Its runtime sensor can be deployed in less than five minutes, offering real-time insights. The company’s modern attack detection and auto-learning technology provide a detailed narrative of attacks, allowing organizations to be prepared for cloud security challenges.
