UK online property marketplace Zoopla is pushing into the rapidly growing property investment space with a new peer-to-peer lending and property ISA channel.
The additions to the company’s website come through partnerships with LANDBAY to offer peer-to-peer mortgage lending and Bricklane.com to offer property ISAs.
Zoopla recently invested in both the London-based startups with LANDBAY receiving £2.5m in March and Brciklane.com taking £1.3m earlier this month.
The launch of the LSX-traded property portal’s investment play comes as it continues to expand its services through partnerships with younger proptech startups.
Recently the company partnered with Trussle to offer mortgage financing through its platform.
The firm is linked to the startup through VC LocalGlobal, which invested in Zoopla’s 2007 seed round and Trussle’s £1.1m round in February.
Headed up by veteran London investors Saul and Robin Klein, the fund joined Zoopla in contributing to Bricklane.com’s recent round.
