The EU’s securities markets’ regulator has published updated reporting instructions and XML schema (version 1.2.0) for the templates set out in the technical standards on disclosure requirements.
The European Securities and Markets Authority’s (ESMA) updated instructions address technical issues identified by stakeholders since December 2019.
The new reporting standards will come into force 20 days after the technical standards on disclosure requirements have been published in the Official Journal of the European Union.
