Background check platform Cisive acquires PreCheck

Cisive, a compliance-driven human capital management and risk management developer, has acquired healthcare solution PreCheck.

By teaming together, the companies are hoping to boost their prominence in the market as a provider of background solutions to a range of industries. Cisive will benefit from the healthcare industry expertise of PreCheck and grow within the global healthcare space.

PreCheck provides 4,000 hospitals, long-term care facilities, clinics, educational institutions and other health care organisations, with background screening, compliance monitoring and credentialing solutions. Customised background check solutions are available to meet necessary compliance requirements and ensure criminal checks are conducted for employees.

The Huston-based company also offers tools for license monitoring and electronic document management, among other services.

US-headquartered Cisive provides enterprises with onboarding, background screening and compliance solutions for a range of industries including financial services, transport and home services.

Its background screening checks help to monitor a criminal background, their social media, social security number and employment history, among other areas. A fingerprint solution is offered by Cisive to bolster identity verification and these are stored these in an automated, nationwide network.
