Trulioo launches in Poland as European expansion continues

Identity verification platform Trulioo has expanded its presence to the Poland market, just weeks after moving releasing services in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Decisions to launch its GlobalGateway solution into the Polish market were due to its strong and growing economy which is supporting the evolution of FinTech. Trulioo is hoping to help companies in the country which are in need of complying with the EU’s Fourth Anti-money Laundering Directive (4AMLD).

The RegTech 100 company provides global identity and business verification which gives access to reliable, independent and trusted data sources worldwide to verify customers online. Its bank-grade tools help enterprises to comply with AML, CDD requirements and automate KYC and KYB workflows.

Currently, the platform is used to verify over five billion customers and 25m million businesses across 100 countries, it claims.

Trulioo CEO and founder Stephen Ufford said, “We’re thrilled to announce that we now cover Poland. Poland is one of the most economically and culturally vibrant places in Europe – it’s also a strong centre of fintech innovation.”

Earlier in the year, Trulioo launched its service in Czech Republic and Slovakia due to both of the countries taking significant measures to combat money laundering threats.

Late last year, Trulioo opened up a new satellite office in Dublin to support its rapid growth and support its presence in the European market.
