TradingScreen partners with Imagine Software

TradingScreen has partnered with Imagine Software, which offers real-time portfolio, risk, and compliance management solutions.

The all-asset class order and execution management system (OEMS) has partnered with the company to provide ‘fully-integrated pre-trade compliance functionality’, according to Varghese Thomas, TradingScreen chief operating and strategy officer.

“TradingScreen recognizes the need to create seamless integrations and cultivate deeper partnerships to ultimately benefit trading desks faced with ever evolving regulatory and compliance demands,” he added. “As Imagine Software provides the definitive real-time solution to manage risk, maximize growth and comply with regulatory demands, TS clients with portfolio investment mandates on the Imagine platform will now benefit from our fully-integrated pre-trade compliance functionality.”

The Imagine partnership enables smooth integration with TS’ one-touch OEMS workflow solution, TradeSmart, and will deliver robust risk insights on every trade, across all asset classes.

Following the agreement, a checks and balances feature will be built into clients’ execution workflow will issue an alert when a rule or limit is breached during the pre-trade compliance process, along with the exact violation so that quick action can be taken. If no rules are violated, then the order is released to the market.

Founded in 1995, Imagine Software provides real-time portfolio, risk management, and regulatory solutions for the world’s leading brokerage firms, investment banks, hedge funds, and funds of funds in more than twenty-five countries throughout the Americas, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions.

Headquartered in New York City, Imagine was the first to launch a cloud-based portfolio and risk management system in 2000, making it easier for clients to access, customize, and use the firm’s extensive analytics and products.

Earlier this year, TradingScreen has partnered with BondCliQ to help fixed income clients fulfil current and future regulatory mandates for best selection and execution.

TradingScreen (TS) also recently partnered with Liquidnet, a global institutional trading network, to help its users meet regulatory mandates. The company, which provides SaaS-based technology for financial markets, said the partnership will benefit buy-side customers’ order access and execution capabilities.
