Snyk releases new global partner programme

Snyk, a developer-first security company, has released its global channel programme for security partners to foster collaborations in the market.

The cybersecurity company’s new partners include: Optiv Security, an end-to-end cybersecurity solution; GuidePoint Security, a cybersecurity strategy and services solution; and Trace3, an ASP and IT consulting company.

Its new programme will offer two partner levels, premier and access, with both having different requirements. The partner programme aims to encourage partners to help clients and enable teams to find and fix vulnerabilities and licensing violations in open source dependencies and container images.

Partner Certification Programmes will be launched by Snyk later in the year and will help partner sellers and engineers to differentiate themselves as trained and verified suppliers.

Snyk offers financial services, healthcare and retail companies with a developer-first security solution which can automate and secure applications. The technology can find and fix violations and vulnerabilities.

Snyk CEO Peter McKay said, “For businesses today, security is a critical aspect of digital transformation. Combined with the ever-growing threat landscape, there is an urgent need to secure software development.

“We believe developer-first security benefits every software-driven business. To accelerate that mission, we are creating an ecosystem of partners that share our vision to help businesses scale and secure their application development processes.”

This product launch comes just a month after the cybersecurity company joined the unicorn club. It came after the company secured a $150m investment from firms including Stripes, Tiger Global, Boldstart and GV.
