Trade and communication surveillance platform SteelEye has partnered with Enfusion, an investment management SaaS platform, to support joint clients.

Clients will be able to access trade and order data from Enfusion’s investment management solutions, which automatically flows into SteelEye’s integrated compliance platform.

The companies stated that the implementation of trade-based compliance systems for surveillance reporting and best execution is typically complex and lengthy.

This partnership will help to remove the complexity of implementation and make the process streamlined for investment managers.

Commenting on the partnership, SteelEye CEO Matt Smith said, “We decided to join forces with Enfusion to deliver additional value to our joint clients. The technical partnership goes a long way to address the pains of onboarding trading and compliance systems.

“In addition, joint clients get seamless access to SteelEye’s Integrated Surveillance tools which include archiving and communications monitoring – enabling them to do more with less.”

Enfusion managing director Peter Salvage added, “We are delighted that Alken Asset Management selected Enfusion and SteelEye. The Enfusion and SteelEye partnership is a powerful solution for investment managers looking for a state-of-the-art OEMS and portfolio management solution that includes advanced surveillance capabilities.”

SteelEye offers data-driven tools and insights that support integrated trade and communications surveillance, market abuse and trade surveillance, communications monitoring, recordkeeping and trade reconstruction, MiFIR transaction reporting, best execution and more.

It can monitor information from email, voice calls, mobile and chat functions, financial messaging, collaboration tools, trade and order feeds, instrument reference data and transcription connectors.

The RegTech company recently integrated ChatGPT into its compliance platform, allowing the technology to analyse specific communication records, including voice calls, chats, meetings, and emails against a number of key questions.
