Query.AI collects $4.6m in seed funding

Query.AI, which claims to offer the only security investigations control plane for modern enterprises, has bagged $4.6m in seed funding.

The investment was supported by ClearSky Security, DNX Ventures and South Dakota Equity Partners.

This equity injection has been earmarked to grow its go-to-market and engineering teams to meet the demand of its platform.

Alongside the company’s launch, Query.AI has named former Blackstone CISO Jay Leek as the latest member of its board of directors.

The RegTech was founded by Sharan and Andrew Maloney with the aim to supply security teams with a simple approach to elevate security investigation and response. It empowers this through real-time access and centralised insights to data across on-premises, multi-cloud, and SaaS applications.

Its platform normalises and enriches data across any platform to enable investigations without complexity.

Query.AI founder and CEO Dhiraj Sharan said, “Visibility and investigation speed are critical for security teams, and the greatest challenge with legacy solutions is the amount of data that needs to be duplicated from different locations.

“Query.AI solves this because it pulls the data from where it lives, providing unparalleled access to data in real time. By directly leveraging the ecosystem of industry vendors’ APIs, Query.AI removes the burden of transferring or duplicating data to consolidate control and enable swift investigations and response actions.”
