PlainID appoints 4 senior staff, hot off heels of Series A close

PlainID, an online verification solution, has appointed four people to its senior management team.

Daniel Brudner joins as VP sales engineering, Tal Yaari joins as VP R&D, Sam Adler joins as VP marketing and Tom Doyle joins as professional services director.

Prior to joining PlainID, Brunder served as CTO and senior positions in information security at IDF, Navitek and CA Technologies. He has more than 20 years of cybersecurity and IAM experience.

Yaari, who has over 15 years of experience, has previously served as the CTO at UVEye, Novelty Media and SenseGon Technologies.

Adler will join PlainID from Saviynt and comes with over 20 years’ experience and lead marketing positions at Zuora, Avid and Salesforce.com.

The final new appointment, Dolye, has 15 years’ experience in IAM and has served in identity and access management companies including Netegrity, CA and at Ping Identity.

PlainID CEO Oren Harel said, “We are witnessing an awakening in the Identity Governance and Administration space, as more companies are realizing that their ability to provide Authorizations to their users is limited by the number of roles or attributes they can manually create.

“We’ve hired an incredible group of industry leaders to help deliver our message that Policy Based Access Control is the next generation in Authorisation.”

Founded in 2015, PlainID is an authorisation platform which provides a single point of decision, one point of control and a sole point of view across cloud, mobile and legacy applications. Its management platform enables business leaders, data governors and security teams to access a single solution where they can view and implement organisational policies across multiple protocols.

These appointments come hot off the heels of the company’s Series A round which closed on $11m during the Summer. Viola Ventures led the round with participation also coming from Capri Ventures, Springtide Ventures and iAngels.

It decided to raise the capital to expand its U.S. sales & marketing operations, customer support, and R&D team.
