Ipsidy releases web-browser identity verification solution

Ipsidy, an identity-as-a-service provider, has released a web-browser interface which lets enterprises quickly implement the biometric identify solution.

The Identity Portal is aimed at helping businesses wishing to replace outdated processes as quickly as possible. The portal removes the need of a complicated implementation of the technology and lets clients access the service online.

Configurations are available to help it suit any end-user, and clients can establish custom transactions, customer groups, preferred authentication methods, and others.

The Identity Portal will offer two identity solutions, Proof and Verified.

Its Proof solution allows organisations to collect anyone’s identity document from around the world via a mobile app. The service is an identity proofing offering that includes facial biometrics matched with government credentials.

Clients can implement Proof to improve their onboarding, account opening, and KYC tasks.

Verified empowers businesses to collect biometric authentication from their customers and employees on any transaction. Users simply take a selfie to access their account to approve or reject a transaction they make.

Ipsidy’s Identity-as-a-service platform gives companies the tools to verify and authenticate businesses and customers through facial biometrics and mobile-based document verification.

Late last year, Safetrade Africa, a technology development company specialising in payment processing in secure environments, integrated the Ipsidy biometric identity and authentication solutions.
