Integrity360 receives strategic investment from August Equity

Integrity360, a cybersecurity specialist based in Ireland and the UK, has received a “major” strategic investment from private equity firm August Equity.

Funds from the investment will help the cybersecurity company to bolster its growth and expansion efforts, as it targets building its international brand. Plans include development across Europe and adding to its product suite, including a next generation managed detection and response (MDR) service.

The size of the investment was not disclosed.

As part of the deal, Ian Brown, an entrepreneur and industry veteran has joined Integrity360 as its executive chairman. Integrity360 founder and CEO Eoin Goulding will transition into the role of president.

Integrity360, which was founded in 2005, offers a selection of cybersecurity services to help organisations identify, assess, protect, prevent, detect, analyse, respond and recover from cyber threats.

Brown said, “I have followed and admired Integrity360 for some time, and so I am truly delighted to be partnering with Eoin – and of course August Equity – once again, with the goal to build a market leading cyber security services company across Europe.

“Integrity360 already has a strong reputation in the industry and a comprehensive end-to-end portfolio of services. I look forward to working with the team to accelerate our organic growth plans and also build the brand internationally. The market need for such services has never been stronger given both the massive digital transformation acceleration within businesses, alongside the rapid evolution of cyber threats.”
