Exiger acquires Convergent Solutions to support Federal Government

RegTech service provider Exiger has acquired Convergent Solutions, which supplies intelligence analysis and cybersecurity to the Federal Government.

The combined company will expand the deployment of its AI products and improve support for data-driven challenges within the Federal Government.

Convergent Solutions will operate at a wholly-owned subsidiary and will help Exiger reach new areas of the Federal Government including Department of Defense, the intelligence community, and civilian agencies.

The Federal Government is increasingly leveraging analytics and machine learning to improve its decision making, Exiger claims. The RegTech will supply its technology-based solution to help the government with dataset screening, due diligence, and mitigating fraud.

Exiger offers businesses governance, risk and compliance solutions to help with risk assessments, audits, compliance programs, and remediations. Its technology is used for asset tracing, cybersecurity, AML, due diligence, financial investigations, anti-fraud, and regulatory investigations, among others.

Through its third-paty management platform, Exiger will streamline the Federal Government’s supply chain risk management and vendor oversight. Additionally, its natural language processing data and analytics tools will help accelerate and automate decision making in document and financial records review.

Exiger co-founder and executive chairman Michael Cherkasky said, “Exiger is excited to bring our leading technology solutions to the federal market. Our products, combined with Convergent’s world class employees, industry credentials and experience, can help solve the Federal Government’s biggest challenges related to information management, vendor and personnel vetting, and mission critical risk identification and mitigation.”
