eSentire partners with Tenable to boost security offering

eSentire, a managed detection and response solution provider has joined the Tenable Assure Partner Program and boosted its security portfolio.

The cybersecurity company offers a managed vulnerability service which gives comprehensive risk identification and prioritisation of enterprise IT assets. By working with Tenable, it will offer co-managed abilities to customers including vulnerability management in the cloud and on-premises.

Gaining access to these new tools, eSentire clients will gain deeper visibility into cyber risk across IT, cloud, IoT and OT environments, as well as access in-depth analytics to measure and communicate cyber risk in business terms to make improved strategic decisions.

The eSentire vulnerability management solution can identify any weaknesses on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, improve remediation timeframes, and enable businesses to run customised scans.

Sean Blenkhorn, Field CTO, eSentire, said: “Networks are increasingly composed of growing, dynamic assets. With applications spread across disparate systems, this expansive business environment presents potential blind spots that threat actors are looking for.

“With limited time and resources, rapid identification and focused remediation of vulnerabilities that present the greatest risk to continued business operations are critical. This move is the next step in our evolution towards combining vulnerability data with other risk data into a singular view for customers to make risk-driven business decisions.”

Earlier in the year, eSentire received a $47m investment from Warburg Pincus, Edison Partners and Georgian Partners. It raised the funds to support the development of its data protection capabilities.
