Eigen Technologies names new chief marketing officer to continue growth momentum

Eigen Technologies, which designs natural language processing technology, has named Stefanie Lightman as its new chief marketing officer (CMO).

Lightman joins the company to lead the global marketing efforts from its New York office. She takes over the position from Emily Ochoa, who will now serve as Eigen’s chief of staff.

This appointment will help the company continue its momentum, after 2020 was its most successful year. During 2020, the RegTech company more than doubled the number of enterprise customers it serves.

Eigen Technologies CMO Stefanie Lightman said, “I am thrilled to be joining Eigen at this growth stage. After such a strong year commercially in 2020, I am looking forward to helping the business continue its current trajectory, grow its client base and reach new audiences.

“I am always excited by new opportunities to tie solutions to customer success, and with a product as strong as Eigen’s Document AI product, I know we are perfectly placed to achieve this. Eigen’s software is among the best I’ve seen, and I know first-hand how the combination of technical excellence and strong marketing can be extremely powerful.”

Lightman has 25 years of experience in B2B technology, having most recently led product marketing and portfolio strategy for employee experience firm Limeade.

Eigen Technologies helps organisations to improve their decision making by automatically extracting data from documents and other text sources. Its use cases include bank optimisation, LIBOR repapering, asset-backed securities analysis, portfolio origination and regulatory compliance.

The RegTech raised a $5m investment from ING Ventures last year. The capital was raised as part of a strategic partnership with ING, which sees its natural language processing technology used across its banking services.
