CYMI integrates FundCount’s portfolio accounting solution

CYMI Holdings, a single family office based in Dayton, Ohio, has integrated FundCount’s accounting and investment analysis software.

CYMI said the new software will provide it with an ‘increased ability to handle the complex’ accounting and analysis of options that comprise a significant part of their investment portfolio.

FundCount’s portfolio and partnership accounting software is used by single and multi-family offices, hedge funds, private equity firms and fund administrators to improve the accuracy and efficiency of their operations. The company claims to delivers ‘previously unavailable functionality’, including the ability to sort trades by various parameters, process corporate actions and generate on-demand reports for family members.

“The lack of an automated solution had made it difficult to meet the family’s accounting needs in a timely fashion,” said Ajay Badlani, CIO, CYMI Holdings. “FundCount’s solid portfolio accounting, full support for options, including analytics, and integrated general ledger have brought our accounting and reporting to another level.”

Founded in 1999, FundCount solutions assist with portfolio accounting, partnership accounting, general ledger and reporting.

FundCount offers a ‘vast selection’ of standard reports and flexible templates to address the requirements of family offices, hedge funds, private equity and fund administration. From tax and book accounting to advanced investment analysis and performance reports with customisable benchmarks, FundCount’s reporting enables users to create the reports you need in minutes, not days or weeks according to its website.

It also enables users to generate reports showing asset allocation by sector or asset class, monitor market and risk statistics, prepare tax schedules, calculate fund performance or create a custom report as needed. Drill-through reporting shows details and exposure of all underlying investments and provides transparency for auditors as well as for managers, investors and other stakeholders.

Alex Ivanov, CEO and founder of FundCount added: “CYMI Holdings had very specific requirements with a strong focus on managing options trades. The robust functionality and investment analysis capabilities in FundCount will enable the office to easily meet its current and future accounting needs. We warmly welcome CYMI Holdings to the FundCount family.”
