Cybersecurity training platform SoSafe nab $73m

Cybersecurity and data protection platform SoSafe has reportedly raised $73m in its Series B funding round.

The investment was led by Highland Europe, with commitments also coming from Acton Capital and Global Founders Capital, according to a report from TechCrunch. Commitments also came from SAP Hybris founder Carsten Thoma and Adjust founder Christian Henschel.

SoSafe provides employees with effective and engaging training on cybersecurity and data protection. Its platform boasts simulated phishing attacks, modular e-learning and a dashboard to easily maintain training.

Highland Europe partner Gajan Rajanathan told TechCrunch, “SoSafe’s founders have built a trusted cybersecurity awareness and testing platform, underpinned by behavioral analytics and human risk scoring that sustainably protects the most important threat surface in cybersecurity — human security breaches.

“They have rapidly emerged as one of the leading software scale-ups, experiencing incredible momentum in a short period of time.”
