Congressional Federal Credit Union picks Gro to streamline onboarding

Congressional Federal Credit Union has partnered with Gro Solutions to streamline its digital onboarding workflow.

The credit union said it has chosen Gro Checkout, a component of Gro’s cloud-based Digital Sales Platform, to streamline its digital onboarding workflow while creating a ‘simple and intuitive’ user experience for its members. It plans to implement Gro’s Platform to significantly reduce the friction of the application process in a bid to provide its members with a fast and simple online experience.

“When our members come to us through the digital channel, their needs can be varied, and we wanted a way to serve them that didn’t require them to wait or go through unnecessary steps,” said Devin Calef, Manager of eCommerce for Congressional Federal Credit Union. “With Gro, we can connect our members directly to the product they’re interested in, gathering only the necessary information along the way so it doesn’t slow down the application process, providing a smooth experience for our members from beginning to end.”

Founded in 2015, Gro Solutions provides a digital sales platform to drive acquisition growth for banks and credit unions, across all channels of their business. Its flagship product, Gro Checkout, is an account opening solution that works across multiple channels, and can even be started in one channel and completed in another if necessary. With Gro Checkout, customers or prospects can apply for multiple account types with only one application. Its patent-pending workflow claims to significantly reduce account opening time to under four minutes.

As part of the Gro Digital Sales Platform, Gro offers Consumer Protection Plus, a patent-pending feature that uses SMS and email validation to ensure that consumers are involved in the account opening process. The company claims the solution provides an ‘extra layer of security’ for user’s customers.

The company claims its products fit seamlessly into the users existing infrastructure, allowing big bank customers to maintain their own brand,  manage the UI, and most importantly, own the customer experience.
