TrustID and IDVerse forge partnership to enhance digital identity security

TrustID, a firm known for its veteran status in identity verification, and IDVerse, a pioneer in generative AI identity solutions, have formed a partnership.

TrustID is recognised for its robust human-in-the-loop identity services, while IDVerse excels in applying automated reinforcement learning to identity solutions.

The partnership between TrustID and IDVerse is designed to enhance the capabilities of TrustID’s identity verification services through IDVerse’s advanced generative AI technology. This collaboration aims to set new standards in identity validation and security, addressing the growing challenge of digital fraud, including deepfake attacks.

TrustID has established itself as a key player in providing secure and reliable identity verification services. The company employs expert human analysts to ensure the accuracy of its verification processes. On the other hand, IDVerse brings to the table its state-of-the-art automated reinforcement learning technology, which has shown superior performance in document capture and fraud analysis during tests against live data and known fraudulent documents.

Through this partnership, TrustID will incorporate IDVerse’s technology to improve the security features of its services, ensuring smoother user onboarding and robust compliance with regulatory standards. This integration is particularly timely, as it comes in response to the rising threats posed by deepfake technologies, where fraudulent entities manipulate audio or video to impersonate individuals.

Recent statistics from IDVerse highlight the urgency of this partnership, revealing that about 25% of fraud attempts now involve deepfake media. This collaboration not only enhances TrustID’s service offering but also positions it at the forefront of the battle against digital identity threats.

TrustID CEO Tony Machin expressed enthusiasm about the partnership: “We are excited to continue our advancement in identity verification automation with IDVerse and leverage their innovative approach to identity technology. We rigorously tested IDVerse with our own known fraudulent document database and through live data tests to ensure our clients receive only the industry’s best. IDVerse performed significantly better in document capture and fraud analysis than other candidates.”

IDVerse CTO and Co-founder Matt Adams also commented on the collaboration: “By leveraging the best of computer vision and humans, we address algorithmic bias and ensure compliance with regulations like the EU AI Act and the US White House Executive Order on AI. This approach empowers companies like TrustID to navigate the digital landscape responsibly and with confidence, particularly in combating emerging threats such as deepfake media.”
