Haven Cyber Technologies acquires Onevinn

Haven Cyber Technologies has acquired Onevinn, a Swedish-based provider of Microsoft cloud security services and solutions.

The value of the deal was not disclosed but is part of Haven’s strategy of bolstering its solutions, products and consulting capabilities. Haven is expecting Onevinn’s cloud security services in Microsoft Azure will complement its own products.

Haven Cyber Technologies is a network of cybersecurity products providing businesses with security consulting or managed services. Its technology offerings can help enterprises to prevent and detect threats to cloud, apps, data, endpoint identity and access.

In addition to this, Haven analyses network events and user behaviour, improves response to incidents, crisis communication, and forensic investigation, and aids reporting of insights.

This is the latest acquisition from Haven, which previously acquired London-based G3 Cyber Consulting and Washington D.C.-based SBD Advisors in 2018. The company is planning on making additional acquisitions over the course of the year.

Haven CEO Christoph von Falck said, “In recent years it has become clear that companies can no longer ‘get by’ when it comes to cybersecurity. Today, staying safe online is a Board-level issue, and one that requires significant investment. Most organisations don’t have the in-house expertise to tackle this growing issue and must look to outside providers.

“This presents a clear opportunity for Haven, an integrated industrial holding, which provides a wide range of services and applications to keep companies safe and resilient to the rapidly evolving cybersecurity threats faced by every company. We are very pleased to have acquired Onevinn and ensure that Haven is a cutting-edge cybersecurity tool for companies across Europe and the world. We very much look forward to working with them.”
