Autenti said to raise $4.48m in its latest funding round

Autenti, a Poland-headquartered electronic signature startup, has reportedly netted $4.48m in a funding round.

Alior Bank, BNP Paribas and PKO Bank Polski contributed to the round alongside venture capital firms Nest and Black Pearls VC, according to a report from FinTech Futures.

Capital from the round will be used to bolster its technology and further help the digitalization of the financial industry.

Following the investment, Autenti will be able to provide its electronic signature technology to Alior Bank, BNP Paribas and PKO Bank Polski.

Autenti develops electronic signature technology which enables clients to sign documents online, boosting authentication measures. Recipients of a document can send their approval with a single click

Electronic signatures are starting to become a popular technology stack. Last year, Deutsche Bank released its digital signature technology solution into the Asia Pacific region. The first client to adopt the solution was BASF’s Regional Treasury Centre in Hon Kong.
